ARIMA Hotel & Spa – Small Luxury Hotels

We were passing through on a road trip to Portugal and would definitely stay here again. The underground parking felt very secure, which mattered because we could leave most of our things safely in the car overnight. The rooms were extremely comfortable and elegantly finished, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent too. We can't wait to return to San Sebastián for a longer visit and stay at the ARIMA Hotel again. Nothing to fault.

Set among lush green forest, this is a lovely modern hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the parking was spacious and handy, with charging points for our EV. The friendly staff welcomed us with a glass of delicious local Txakoli wine and accommodated our very early check-in. Bus stops right outside make it easy to head into old town. Highly recommend.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are very nice, and breakfast was great. We also had some excellent dishes at the restaurant downstairs. It's a long way from town, though, so getting anywhere else means taking a taxi or city bus. Our room was small but comfortable. I took off a couple of stars because there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling above the tub. The hotel was fully booked, so we couldn't change rooms, and they offered no partial refund or other remedy. I think poor ventilation in the rooms led to the problem.

Breakfast was top notch, with high-quality products and local options. The buffet wasn't huge, but the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and had a beautiful forest view in this modern, well-designed property. At check-in, I think the staff member's name was Uma. She was professional, knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. Since we arrived early, she helped us store our luggage. With her help, my Hilton Gold membership, and my birthday, we received an upgrade to a higher room category.
