The staff made our stay at SANSEbay Hotel in San Sebastian feel so special. Everyone was kind and professional, and Andreea at reception was especially warm and helpful. She made us feel cared for right from the start. The hotel’s in a beautiful spot, right in the heart of everything, and the surroundings are stunning. Every detail is decorated with such taste and care. It’s easily the most beautiful boutique hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We left impressed, would recommend it to anyone visiting San Sebastian, and can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Andreea welcomed us when we arrived, and she and the rest of the staff made it clear they wanted us to enjoy our stay. Everyone took a little extra time to greet us sincerely and ask if we needed anything. The rooms were thoughtfully designed for both looks and function, and the location was perfect for visiting San Sebastian. This is the best hotel we’ve come across.

We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay in this lovely self-catering place near the coast. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a washing machine, cooking facilities, and a dishwasher. We bought delicious seafood at a local supermarket and cooked it ourselves, saving a fortune. Restaurants in San Sebastian are great but expensive, so cooking for yourself can save a lot. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the WiFi was good. Not every room has a view, but that didn’t affect our stay. Highly recommended.

We especially loved the sea view across the bay at this boutique hotel in San Sebastián’s old district, close to the main sights and lots of pinxto bars and restaurants. The room was clean, modern, and had a great shower and comfortable bed. Staff were helpful with information and accommodating when we asked them to turn the sofa into a bed. Breakfast options were limited, but what we had tasted good. We’d definitely recommend it.

The room was a little too hot in winter. I’m not sure how they were heating it, but I would’ve liked the temperature set a couple of degrees lower. Even so, I’d gladly stay again. The bigger room we paid for was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a great bed and a vathro that was a joy to use. The shower was one of the best I’ve had in Europe. There’s a small breakfast and bar area; we only tried it a couple of times, but the food was great. The helpful staff all spoke excellent English and went out of their way for us, including helping us book dinner on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The hotel sits right at the edge of San Sebastian’s Old Town, just a 30-second walk from the action.
