Hotel Trueba

The beach is just around the corner, and the old part of town is about a 10-minute walk away. Gros is a lovely area with plenty to discover, and there are several nearby places for breakfast. Our room was a good size and clean, though it faced a fairly busy street. The windows kept most of the noise out, and traffic eased at night. There’s a hot drinks corner available 24/7, and the room fridge had free cold soft drinks and water, refilled daily. Everyone was kind and helpful. Since we arrived after the front desk closed at 4pm, we communicated on WhatsApp, and they answered our question right away. The hotel occupies the building’s 1st floor.

We were only there for one night, and the compact, clean, modern room with a bathtub and shower worked perfectly for our family while we explored the city and beach. There were free drinks in the fridge, and the artwork throughout the hotel was beautiful. The lobby has a modern, artistic feel, and there’s a comfortable lounge with a free coffee machine. It’s a small boutique hotel with just ten rooms and friendly staff. They let us check in early, which made a big difference for our family. Driving there was a little tricky because it’s at the end of a one-way street.

The rooms were nice, the location was great, and the hospitality and service were excellent throughout. I’d definitely stay here again.

The staff made us feel truly welcome. They were cheerful, always ready with answers or suggestions, and took care of every request. Our room was a decent size, clean and comfortable, with a huge bed. The location was good too, close to the beach and lots of excellent places to eat.
