Marina at reception kindly moved us for free to a lovely room with a beautiful forest view and a spacious terrace. We’d originally booked a smaller room facing the hospital, and it was a bit noisy, so the replacement made our stay much more enjoyable. The hotel is modern, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly. I’d suggest confirming the room’s view when booking for the best experience.

We could park for free on the street and catch the local bus easily, and the location was okay. But the room smelled as if every guest before us had smoked in it, and there were ants everywhere. For what it cost, it wasn’t good value.

I appreciated having a laundry area with washers, dryers, and ironing facilities. Breakfast at the Arima Hotel was healthy, nutritious, and organic, and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Numad Studios is in a peaceful area that’s lovely for early summer morning walks. My only suggestion is to air out the corridors daily by leaving the floor door open, since cooking smells build up there.

The bus into San Sebastian town comes regularly and it’s a short ride. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was great, and there’s a lovely gym. The only drawback is that pool access isn’t free. It’s a lovely place.

The rooms were nicer than I expected. The downside is how far out it is: the number 28 bus cost €1.80 per person each way and took around 20 minutes. Reception was only staffed from lunchtime until teatime.
