Late checkout at 11:30 was a nice extra. Luca is a gem, so friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and I’d happily come back. The room was modern and clean, with a big bed, a good shower, and a tiny terrace. The old town location, right in the heart of it, is unbeatable.

Luca was friendly and very helpful, and the location is great. The room was nice, but it got really hot with only a ceiling fan and no air-conditioning. Opening the windows made it a little cooler, but the noise went on until 4 or 5am. With them shut, it was quiet but too hot. If the room had been cooler, it would’ve been a five-star room. I hadn’t expected a shared bathroom, but even with several other guests using it, it was always clean and there was no competition.

The value wasn’t brilliant, but you’re right in the centre of San Sebastián, with dozens of pinchos bars on your doorstep. Finding the entrance was a little tricky, so look for the numbers. Our room had a lovely, clean en suite bathroom, though some rooms share a bathroom and toilet. Outside noise can be loud, but the double glazing cut it by about 80%. There’s no air-conditioning, but the fan was brilliant.

The owners were friendly and accommodating, and gave us really useful tips about what to do and where to go. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the toilets were kept clean too. You’re as close as you can get to the city’s pintxos bars. If you’re visiting San Sebastian, this is the best place to stay. Highly recommended!
