Pension San Ignacio Centro 2

I stayed in a clean, well-kept single room, and Javier was friendly and helpful. The place is good value and conveniently close to the old town. I’d highly recommend it for solo travelers or families.

The front desk guy was caring and really helpful, which I appreciated. It’s in a nice, well-situated location. The room felt a bit stuffy and warm without air conditioning. They gave us fans, though I wonder how much nicer it would be with a small AC unit.

The moment we entered, we saw several black hairs, a cigarette mark, and something that looked like blood on the bed. We politely asked for the bedding to be changed. Javier, who met us there, said we should leave if we didn’t want the room, and that we wouldn’t find another place for the same price. He then stopped speaking English to us. He was incredibly rude, and of course we left.

The owner was welcoming and friendly, and gave us good tips for vegan and vegetarian food around town. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a great stay and nothing to complain about.
