The location is very good, but at €130 a night the guesthouse feels quite expensive, especially with nearby parking costing €25 a day. There’s a communal room with tea, coffee, shop-bought pastries and fruit available around the clock. The bedrooms are clean but small, with no air conditioning. A building site across the road made it noisy with the window open. The interior walls are paper-thin, so TVs and conversations carry clearly between rooms. The bathrooms are well equipped but aren’t ensuite. You can request a private one when booking, though you still have to cross the public hallway to get to it. Better soundproofing would make a big difference. It’s in a converted apartment on the third floor, and the lift was temperamental. Finding the entrance was tricky without Google Maps, you have to buzz 3-C to be let into the building.

The bathroom was across the hall rather than in our room. Everything was very clean, and it took about 20 minutes to walk to the old town, just right for walking off all that tapas.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We could hear absolutely every noise from the neighbors through the thin walls, and with the bathroom and toilet outside the room there was no privacy. The entrance was creepy and dirty. €500 for three nights just wasn’t worth it. Thank you.

It was clean, but could use a bit of updating. The quality didn’t match the asking price, and the noise was really too much. There’s almost no soundproofing, so you can hear neighbors using the bathroom and having fun. Street noise from cars and the terrace goes on constantly, even with the window closed, and the nights are difficult. There are no blackout curtains, and light comes through the shutters.
