I wouldn't stay here again. The mattresses were old, the springs squeaked, and the sheets were worn thin. The inside blinds kept rattling in the wind.

It's very simple, just beds and a full bathroom, but we slept really well. The place smelled clean as soon as we came in. You can hear everything from the rooms next door, though for that price I wasn't expecting much more. I'd happily come back.

We stayed three nights and had a good time. The owners were really friendly, and the location is perfect. The place has clearly seen better days, and the showers could have been cleaner, but it was manageable. I'd stay again.

With two young children and car trouble, we couldn't reach the guesthouse before reception closed at 9 pm. We called ahead to explain that we would arrive late, but the owner said we couldn't stay and would still charge us the full amount. He showed no understanding and offered no alternative. We even said we'd pick up the keys wherever needed, but there was no attempt to help find a solution. We had to urgently find somewhere else to stay that late, with both children. There was very little empathy or flexibility during what was a genuine emergency. Keep that in mind before booking.
