Albariza Hotel Boutique

The owner and staff are charming, the rooms are well equipped, and the location is central. I had an amazing stay. Here’s my ode to Sanlúcar: Paco, innkeeper with a laugh, you fill the glasses with the day, sherry running amber through the air, its fragrance rising from the streets. They keep bringing jamón, slice after slice, salt and muscle shaped like roses, Spain’s stubborn bloom, until I give in to all that pink. Then the sea, generous mother, sets langostinos on the table, armored, glowing, lifted from the tide, red as the sun going down. Horses streak across the wet beach, lightning wrapped in flesh, hooves sending sparks against the Atlantic’s skin. Sanlúcar, feast and gallop, salt and fire, a city that asks to be taken in whole.

The location made getting around easy: the main square, old quarter, bodegas, and beaches were all about a 10-minute walk away. There’s more to Sanlucar than you might first expect. We spent 12 fantastic days at the Albariza. The staff welcomed us warmly and stayed helpful throughout, without being overbearing. They were there whenever we needed them, and we felt right at home. Our room was spotless the whole time. The shower was great and the mattress comfortable, both big pluses for us. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and served beautifully, with just about anything you could want. Thanks, Albariza. You helped make our time in Sanlucar fabulous.

We had a wonderful weekend at this stunning property. The bedroom was really comfortable, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Facilities were excellent, and the staff were so helpful. Highly recommended!

A peaceful place for a break, with welcoming staff and a lovely breakfast. The room was beautifully furnished, and the modern hotel is just a short distance from the noise around the central bars.
