I came home hoping to relax and ended up with a party right outside my damn window. If that’s what you’re after, fine, but anyone wanting to sleep might need a sleeping pill. The speaker on the neighboring terrace was so loud it felt like it could shatter the windows. We should’ve been warned. 🫨

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the location was excellent. We got great service too. 10/10, we’ll be back.

My plans changed, so I couldn’t go, but they still charged me €216.

I’ve booked hundreds of hotels for work and personal trips, many of them in Spain, and I’ve never had such a bad experience. We arrived by motorcycle in protective gear, with the temperature outside around 38°C (100°F). The entrance was locked. I called an employee named Isabel and was told we had to complete online check-in first. We’d booked that same day and hadn’t received any earlier instructions by WhatsApp. Even after I explained that we were stuck outside in the heat wearing all our motorcycle gear, the door stayed locked. Filling in the first guest’s details took about ten minutes. I called again and asked them to open the entrance to the air-conditioned hostel, but they refused and said it would only be opened after the second guest was fully registered. My partner was already having problems from the heat. Once I’d entered the second person’s details, I couldn’t reach the employee for about ten minutes, either by the various phone numbers or on WhatsApp. After several more calls, I got a WhatsApp message, but it had no explanation and I had to translate it. By then we’d been waiting outside for around 25 minutes. The message mentioned a €150 penalty for smoking in the hotel. We don’t smoke, so that wasn’t an issue. But when we finally got inside, the room smelled strongly of stale, cold cigarette smoke. I tried several times to reach Isabell for help using different phone numbers. After more calls and messages I got through, but no solution was offered. She said she’d contact her supervisor. We waited over 30 more minutes and heard nothing. Around 6:30 p.m., a WhatsApp message finally arrived saying they couldn’t help us. They offered neither another room nor help finding somewhere else to stay. We had to find new accommodation at short notice in the early evening, completely sweaty. The room condition was disappointing, but what upset us most was how the situation was handled. When we needed help, nobody helped us. I can’t recommend this accommodation.
