There’s a pleasant common space on the top floor, and the shared bathrooms were kept clean. The staff were kind and helpful too. The rooms are very basic, just a bed and sink, though most have balconies. For a fairly cheap hostel in sant antoni, it was perfectly decent. The only thing that bothered us was the doors: they needed a hard push to stay shut, so it could get noisy. You’re close to the center and marina, with bars and several clubs around, plus a small supermarket right nearby. I’d recommend it for that location.

No tap water between 2 and 6 p.m., weak WiFi, noise at night and around 5 a.m., and checkout was early. The room felt worse than a prison cell, there was no private restroom, and it was expensive too. The worst place I’ve ever stayed!

The location is the one good thing, close to the city. For the price, it’s odd not to have a private bathroom or toilet, and it gets hot in summer because there’s no air-con. The key setup was strange too: you pick it up from a little box outside the room and put it back when you leave.

The reception staff were kind and communicated really well. They let us leave our luggage after checkout so we could enjoy the day, and also made a late check-in possible. That’s why I gave three stars despite the things that need attention: the Hostal seems due for renovation, there was no bin in the room, and the communal shower should be cleaned daily.

Cold, dirty, and with constant power cuts. Communication was horrible too. This was the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve travelled a lot.
