I found a spider on my pillow, and the room we paid to have a double bed had two separate beds pushed together instead. It was super uncomfortable. Nothing they advertise seemed true. The room photos didn’t match what we got, and there was no pool, despite it being advertised. During our five days there, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned and they never replaced the toilet paper. The shower overflowed, leaving the whole bathroom floor wet. The kitchen was always dirty and wasn’t cleaned during our stay either. Garbage sat piled up for hours without anyone taking it out. Basically the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in.

The bed in my room was clean and comfortable, and the reception and cleaning staff were kind and friendly. Reception staff spoke English. For the price, this guesthouse was worth it. There are shared shower and toilet facilities on the first and second floors. The water got plenty hot and had good pressure, which I appreciated. Guests also share a kitchen, refrigerator and washing machine, plus a garden where you can eat or hang laundry. The nearest beach is a ten-minute walk away and is known for its beautiful sunsets. Cafe Manbo is about a twenty-minute walk, but the sunset at this beach is so lovely that you don’t need to go all the way there. Stylish cafes around the beach add to the sunset atmosphere with great music. (I’ve included a photo of the beach.)

The host never arrived, even though the property had confirmed our 4 PM arrival time for the week we booked in August. I called his mobile, but he didn’t answer. Outside, there were no signs or even a mailbox, just a few steps leading nowhere. The booking site also had no exterior photo. When customer service reached him by phone, he said he didn’t speak English. That seemed strange for someone arranging rentals for foreign tourists, especially as everyone in Ibiza speaks English. It felt like very malicious behavior when he should have known we were arriving that day at the time the property had set. After the cancellation, there wasn’t even an apology message. Before we arrived, though, the establishment had sent me at least three messages demanding different deposit amounts: €10 one time, €50 another, then €70. That’s exorbitant for such a poorly rated hotel. This place will be reported.

We had three sleepless nights in the middle of a heatwave, with temperatures at 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). The air conditioning wasn’t working, and they said no technicians were available to fix it. Obviously, they didn’t want to pay for a technician. Nothing they advertise is true, and they offered no solution at all. Easily the worst trip of my life. Absolutely shameful! 😡😡😡😡😡😡
