I booked a single room for my time in Ibiza, but I didn’t feel safe staying here alone as a woman. There were no staff around at all, neither at reception nor to clean the room during my stay, and I worried about having nowhere to go if I got locked out. A man once tried to follow me into my room, banging and shaking the door to get in. No staff were there to see it. I didn’t want to stay after that. The location felt unsafe, with a bar next door where drunk men would approach and catcall me. The room itself was standard and did have aircon, which was a plus. I couldn’t open the curtains because the window looked onto an outside patio where people came and went. The showers were good. I wouldn’t stay again.

A good budget option. The rooms were clean, and you can walk to the bus stop in about five minutes for buses to the main beaches and clubs. The sunset strip is only a few minutes away on foot, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Food at the tapas bar downstairs was tasty and good value. I’d recommend it if you’re watching your budget.

We had everything we needed close by: Lidl was about a five-minute walk, free parking was roughly two minutes away, and the popular West End was just two streets over. Walk down the street and you’re in the middle of the strip. Our room was as expected, simple, clean, and big enough for three, with two balconies. It was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and made beds. The bathroom had a toilet, sink, mirror, bin, and shower. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. We paid a €50 deposit for the remote and got it back at checkout. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English for us to understand each other. We didn’t eat there every day, but when we did, the food was tasty and affordable. A cold pint of San Miguel was only €1.50, a real bargain. We really enjoyed our stay and I’ll definitely come back to Dinamarca.

I couldn’t get a proper night’s sleep. The bar downstairs was constantly loud, with people shouting, and the corridor outside my room was like a train station, people rolling cases past all the time like a herd of elephants. At check-in, the receptionist said I was €10 short. I checked my money later and I wasn’t, so I ended up paying €10 more than I should have.
