Hotel THB Ocean Beach - Adults Only

The staff made a big difference to our stay. They were welcoming, professional and gave wonderful service, especially the reception ladies and restaurant team. Breakfast had a great range and was delicious, so it's worth adding to a booking. We got a free upgrade to a junior suite and a promotional discount on breakfast, which was a lovely start to the trip. The pool area is nice, though music from nearby Ocean Beach Club is audible. That might suit you if you like that atmosphere. Guests can get 50% off entry to the club if they arrive early. I later learned that booking directly on the THB Hotels website gives free entry, which didn't seem entirely fair to other guests. The location is handy, right by Ocean Beach Club (O Beach), with restaurants and bars within walking distance. San Antonio Old Town is about a 10-minute walk away, convenient for both relaxing and going out.

After a long workday, at 23:00, I found large bugs running around my room. I was moved to another THB, and I want to thank the receptionist, who was really kind and professional in a difficult situation and helped me with everything, as well as the security guard who tried to catch the bugs. Earlier, my company had made two separate room reservations for me and my co-worker. At check-in, the receptionist said we'd been given an upgraded suite with two bedrooms, but it had only one bathroom in one of them. We explained that this wouldn't work for us and that we'd paid more than 370€ for two rooms. They were trying to put us in one room for the same price. The receptionist said everything was booked, then, after several calls, finally gave us two separate rooms. I'm really disappointed with how this was handled. They tried to scam us after we'd paid for two rooms, without explaining the situation first or offering a discount. Instead, they hid it and called it a FREE UPGRADE to a suite.

It's by the sea at the end of the promenade, so it's quieter than staying in the centre, which was nice. The hotel seems quite new and is well maintained, though the rooms are simple. Mine had a large terrace facing the street. The front desk and restaurant staff were nice.

The hotel was clean and very nice, and the staff were super friendly. It's right beside OBeach, with lots of restaurants and bars a short walk into San Antoni city, about 10 minutes.
