The room's ventilation runs all the time and can't be switched off. Apart from that, the hotel is modern, clean, and good value for money. It's in a quiet spot, quite far from the city center. The nearest station takes about 20 minutes to reach on foot, despite being described as very close, and the uphill walk is hard with luggage. Without a car, getting around usually means several transfers. The airport journey takes more than an hour and a half.

The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast had the usual range of hams, eggs, and bread. There is a free coffee machine in the lobby too. I stayed one night with a tour group. The room was spacious and had a microwave and a decent-sized fridge, handy for quick meals. There was no electric kettle or disposable toiletries like a toothbrush, toothpaste, or razor. Towels, shampoo, and body wash were provided. Google Maps may show a supermarket nearby, but the area was deserted and there were no shops around, so buy what you need before arriving.

It's handy for the business park next door, but I wouldn't pick it for another stay. The rooms and hallways are bare and need redecorating, the staff weren't especially friendly or helpful, and breakfast is just adequate with limited choices. Tour buses staying there can make breakfast chaotic. The hotel feels basic and uninspiring for the price. Air conditioning isn't switched on until May or June, so rooms can get stuffy, although the windows open.

A good base for Barcelona, or a place to stop over. The hotel is out in the suburbs. Walk about 15 minutes to the FGC station, then it's a 30-minute ride to Plaça Catalunya on zone 1. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good.
