Parking was okay, and the location is the one fantastic thing about this hotel. We booked at the last minute and were offered room 234. Know the customer in front of you. With more than 100 hotel reviews a year, we know what we want. The room was old-fashioned, and the terrace was awful. Maybe the hotel had grandeur in 1990, but now it needs a complete refurbishment. Some places look good from a distance.

It’s a beautiful, exclusive location, but management has ruined it. The staff were terrible, rude, and talked back. Breakfast was a mess, with pigeons walking all over the tables. The worst part was asking for extra duvets because the beds only had sheets and it was already November. After dinner, we found both duvets thrown on the bed. The receptionist came to our room when we called, and we literally had to make the bed ourselves because she said there was no housekeeping after 10 pm. My friend and I both work in hospitality, and I’ve never asked a paying guest to make their own bed while staying at my hotel. Management needs to do something if they want this beautiful property to remain a successful business.

We stayed at Hotel Eden Roc and found the experience average. The indoor pool and spa were nice, with two hours of access a day, and a swim cap was required. Our massage was good too. Parking in low season costs €11 per night. At reception, the staff were friendly, and the beds in our room were comfortable. The room itself was fine, though some furniture and the bathroom felt worn or outdated. Other rooms looked more modern, perhaps because of the hotel area or the price paid. The restaurant didn’t win us over: the welcome was cold, and they asked us to sign the water ticket for €3.20 while we were still eating, then did the same the next day. The food was basic, with undercooked meat, fish that tasted frozen, and shrimp that didn’t seem fresh. Breakfast was simple too, and some fruit was in poor condition. The reception service, comfortable beds, and spa access were good, but the restaurant and some room details need improvement. Better to eat out, there are great options nearby.

The resort is right on a stunning private beach, and it was easy to get to Rhodes Old Town from the nearby bus stop. We had clean rooms, great food, and plenty to do, including water sports and a games room. We came as part of a large group for a celebration and had an amazing stay. Maria at front of house welcomed us warmly, Jorge was an incredible all-around waitress, and Alexandros made top-notch cocktails at the bar. Every staff member went above and beyond. Check-in was a bit hectic, but it was the first day of the season, so that was understandable. There wasn’t a spa room, though massages were available. Highly recommended, we’d love to return.
