The splash pool was the highlight for us and our four-year-old. There's also a large pool, a children's pool and evening entertainment on the stage by the pool. It's a great family holiday spot. Staff were helpful, and there was plenty of good food to choose from. The rooms are on the small side but more than adequate, and the beds are comfortable. Air-conditioning runs for two hours after you press the switch, which sits low on the bed's headboard and is easy to hit by accident. There's no way to turn it off. The bathroom has a bath and shower, though the lighting isn't great.

The staff were so friendly that after ten days it was sad to say goodbye. The food, drinks and facilities were fab, and there was plenty for young children: soft play, a splash pool, playroom, children's pool, full-size pool and playground. The entertainment was good, just not on every night, which was a shame and the reason I haven't given five stars. The hotel is fab too, though a little run down, which I expected for a three-star place at the price we paid.

The food is good, with plenty of well-cooked choices throughout the day to suit different tastes. Drinks come in small plastic cups at the pool, but there are no limits and the staff are efficient. The play area for younger kids is excellent and shaded by trees, and there's a good-sized family pool. It's a good fit for a quiet family holiday. The decor and bedrooms are a bit dated, but spotlessly clean. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed daily.

The beach, S'Areala, was lovely, and feeding the fish was a real holiday highlight. Some staff were very friendly, and everyone was polite and helpful. Food and drinks had somewhat limited choices, but the quality was good and we found plenty to eat and drink. The hotel had only just opened, so entertainment was sparse and only one bar was open. The adults-only area disappeared once more people arrived, as all the sunbeds were brought up to the pool. Perhaps that may not happen later in the year when the bar in that area opens. It was already impossible to get a sunbed with the hotel about 30% full, so I imagine it's nearly impossible later in summer. The hot tub/Jacuzzi was cold. The walls between rooms are very thin. Our balcony and room were a good size and fairly clean, though a bit tired, and using the fridge and safe cost extra. The hotel is on a steep hill.
