Our family room was in the old barn annex, and it was lovely: a big comfortable bed downstairs and two twin beds in the loft. Even with 1 degree outside, it stayed warm and cozy. Breakfast was simple but excellent, served family style, which made things easier with our three children. They'd also set out a high chair for us. Oscar at reception was so kind and helpful when we arrived, and check-out was quick. The hotel is peaceful. The approach felt a little rough in our van, though a normal car should be fine. One small thing, a kettle and complimentary hot drinks would have been nice, especially in winter. If we're back in the area, we'll definitely return.

The kittens playing outside our room and around our feet while we sat in the sunshine were a lovely highlight. We also appreciated how quickly the staff responded whenever we had a question or request, and how they made an effort to get to know us during our three-night stay. The hotel has a relaxed feel, and being off the beaten track gave us the peace and quiet we look for on holiday. Our room was unusual for us, but comfortable and had a great view. Breakfast was continental, with the same choices each day; trying some new things made that enjoyable. Dinner was delicious, though it was served later than I usually like, so I had to adjust to the timing. We found this charming place through online research on our first trip to the area, and we'd happily come back.

We only had one night at Les Planes del Grau, and I wish we'd been able to stay longer. The bed felt like a cloud, and I had the best night's sleep. Even the linens smelled freshly laundered. The place is beautifully designed but still feels as comfortable as home. Our host was kind and attentive, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Such a special find.

The pool was especially welcome during the heat wave, and the restaurant was good enough that we ate there both nights. Breakfast was included and substantial, and the cheesecake was amazing. Oscar was also a great source of information about the area and very helpful throughout. We had a wonderful two-night stay at Les Planes del Grau and would strongly recommend it.

The food is amazing, with a nice balance of local dishes and broader Spanish options. The bar and restaurant have a good drink selection, and the rooms are modern and lovely. It’s a very tranquil spot.
