The food was excellent, and the owners were really friendly. The house felt cosy, though a little dated, and the rooms were nice for the price. We stayed two nights as a family of four with two little kids. The owners weren't very flexible, though: we couldn't give the kids our own food at dinner or feed them in the living room, and there was no wiggle room on check-in, check-out, or dinner times. It seems great for couples, but may not suit families with small children as well. That's why I'm giving it four stars.

The breakfasts were delicious, with local produce, and the dinner we chose was a tasty, thoughtful local menu. The farm is in a beautiful area, and the hosts were so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We spent four days here and had a wonderful time. We'd love to come back.

Mercedes and Diego are so welcoming, and their care for the land really comes through. They make the most of the area and look after it with real passion. The farmhouse itself is a lovely spot, with goats, turkeys, and chickens, and it's great for families with children. Breakfast was fabulous, with local cured meats and pastries Mercedes makes herself. There are countless walks nearby, from easy routes such as the Volcano Trail and the Fageda d'en Jordà beech forest to more challenging hikes. It's also close to Olot, Castellfollit de la Roca, and lots of charming villages. Set in the Garrotxa Volcanoes Natural Park, this is a wonderful haven for anyone looking for unspoiled nature, a beautiful setting, local products, and especially the warm hospitality of Mercedes and Diego.
