The hostess was really kind and gave us plenty of useful ideas for our time in La Garrotxa, from excursions and good restaurants to other interesting plans. We didn't even need to stop at an information point! The house is cozy, nicely equipped, and warm enough for winter. It's also well placed, just a few minutes from Olot and next to a very good home-cooking restaurant. We loved it, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful weekend in the cabin. The two-person apartment we rented was super cozy, clean, and right in the mountains, and pets are welcome. The staff were very friendly. There's also a pool and a huge outdoor area with tables and a barbecue, a great place to spend the day.

The garden is huge, which is handy if you're traveling with dogs, but the fence falls down whenever you open it. There isn't enough lighting inside or out, and the kitchen is almost impossible to see in at night. The chimney sits on the floor and fills the house with smoke. There's a pool table, but it seemed they only cleaned the rooms, and even that was half-hearted. Upstairs, green bugs appeared on the towels and ceiling. The layout in the description is confusing. It's one house split over three floors, each sold separately, plus a separate building with a barn and cabin sold as two more cottages. The location is perfect for visiting La Garrotxa, though it's right by a main road and you can hear the traffic. The worst part was the service. Olga said we could leave the main apartment on the 1st, eat there, and use the cabin and hall. At the last minute she changed all our plans, after we'd already prepared food to eat there and organized the group. I thought the service was terrible, and I wouldn't return.
