We're wrapping up a fantastic 12-night stay. The staff were superb, and the location couldn't have worked better for us. There are loads of local places to eat, but the hotel also has an excellent Thai restaurant on site. The food there was phenomenal. We'd love to come back, and I highly recommend it.

My family just got home, and we're already planning to return next year. Cala Vadella is a stunning cove, with shallow water full of fish and several relaxed beach bars and restaurants. The place is right by the beach in a beautiful spot. It's a great fit for a fun, restful family holiday on a budget. The rooms are basic but comfortable, apartment-style, and useful for families. The pool is a good size too. It's not a five-star resort, and doesn't claim to be.

The service was friendly and efficient everywhere, and there's a nice mix of families and groups of friends. The children enjoyed the pool, which didn't smell too strongly of chlorine. Breakfast was better than I'd expected after staying at another four-star hotel in the north of the island, though I'd prefer fewer choices with better quality, or less cooked food and more fresh options. The two-star rating reflects the basic quality of the materials, including strongly scented cleaning products. Ask for a third-floor room if you want a sea view. Good value for families in Ibiza.

What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and they even helped us learn Spanish. The location is just a 60-second walk from a beautiful beach in a quiet cove, with clear water, no waves, and no undertow to worry about. It's family-friendly, with plenty of kids, and mine loved the pool and ice cream. The sangria was delicious, and the well-stocked shop had reasonable prices. As for the less good bits, the hotel was fine, the food was OK, and breakfast was good but much the same each day. The beds were hard, and the salty tap water meant buying lots of bottled water. We'd come back for the staff and location.

We had room 113, a clean three-room apartment with space for six, and everything worked as expected. It's in a nice location, very friendly for kids, with the beach just a minute away and a decent pool. We could even see the sea. If you want an inexpensive, good apartment, I'd recommend it. The price felt like very good value.
