Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel - Adults Only

Last September I had an incredible time seeing Armin Van Buuren, quite possibly one of the best nights I’ve ever had. The room was fabulous, and the bath was amazing. We had drinks at the bar in the Unexpected hotel and down by the beach, and everything was great. Hoping to come back next month. 🤩

I was concerned by a suspicious message asking for a final payment on the day I booked through Booking.com. Other guests said they had received similar messages too. I can’t confirm where it came from, but it looked like a scam attempt and raised concerns about data security with the Hotel Staff. At the start of the season, I stayed at the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Several things in the room weren’t working when we arrived. We also ordered glasses for the champagne included in the room and were told delivery of the glasses would cost extra. Later, there was another extra charge for a bucket of ice. It felt as though nearly every basic service came with a fee, which doesn’t make for a good hotel experience. The room decor was poor too, and fell short of what I expected. Based on this stay, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

Service was very poor, and the staff were extremely rude. Guests in the regular room categories are charged for water, and even hotel guests need to spend at least 350€ to use the pool area. The rooms are overpriced.

It was meant to be a special honeymoon, so I’m very disappointed with how this hotel stay went. I was injured in the room, and the response was stressful and unprofessional. At one point they told me I’d have to pay for hospital care myself, which was shocking. They only explained their own policies after we discussed it further. The service overall fell short too. Housekeeping was inconsistent: dirty dishes were left in the room, and when cups were taken away, they weren’t replaced. I was in pain after the incident, and we missed important plans, including the Hi Ibiza opening, after travelling 15 hours from Canada. This left me feeling that guest care isn’t really a priority here.
