Villa Palmera

Wonderful.

One thing to know before booking is that music isn't allowed after 11 pm. The owner called us even before then because neighbors were already complaining. You can move the music indoors to the living room, but I didn't come to Ibiza to sit inside listening to music as I would at home. The villa is beautiful, especially the pool and barbecue area, and it's larger than the photos suggest, with everything provided. That setup could suit families, but it didn't really work for our group of friends.

The rooftop views are lovely, the whole place was spotless, and the towels, comfortable beds and even comfy sofas were all appreciated. It's a gorgeous, well cared for house, much more impressive in person than in the photos, with air conditioning in each room and a kitchen stocked with what we needed. The main issue was the rule that music and noise have to stop outdoors by 11 pm, including by the pool. We could go inside, where there is air conditioning, but on a nice evening we'd have preferred to stay outside, especially with bars closed and room to be outdoors without bothering anyone. A quieter rule makes sense during the week, but I felt Friday or Saturday could allow a little more music. It's a calm spot for families, with supermarkets close by and Ibiza Town not far away.

A lovely villa with a pool and everything we needed. It worked well for a holiday with friends or family.
