Hotel Acta Sant Just

The bed was great, and the room was comfortable and very clean. They left a bottle of water and bathroom accessories, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was a well-stocked buffet with lots of choice, definitely worth trying. I could hear a lot through the walls and from the hallway, including the guest upstairs. The room also had thin curtains and no shutters, so daylight woke me at dawn. Construction across the street spoiled the view. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but I wish they'd mentioned it when I arrived. The room itself was nice, though the decor felt dated and the bathroom very old. The plastic shower needs replacing, and a larger mirror with a double sink would be better. There was a sound system that looked rustic and, on closer inspection, didn't work. Such a shame.

Parc de Torreblanca is a lovely walk from the hotel, and there are nice restaurants and parks nearby to explore. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My room had a nice view, a comfortable bed, and a decent bathroom. I'd stay here again and recommend it.

We came by car and parking was excellent. The hotel was wonderfully clean, with large rooms, and the staff were really friendly. Highly recommend it, and I'll definitely come back.

My husband and I were staying at Sant Just Acta Hotel for his birthday, and the way we were treated made the stay deeply disappointing. When my husband arrived around 23:30, the night receptionist, who said his name was Adrian and was working around midnight on January 4th, told him there was no guest under my name without properly checking. My husband explained that he was there to meet me and that the booking was for two people, then asked the receptionist to check again or call my room. He wouldn't let him go upstairs, saying I wasn't expecting anyone. He claimed he'd called my room and I hadn't answered, even though room 20 has no telephone. My husband had to keep explaining that he was my husband and that we were celebrating his birthday before he was finally allowed in. He still wasn't given a keycard, so he had to knock on my door, stressed and embarrassed. The receptionist's manner felt racist to us. Earlier, when I arrived, I said “hola” to two staff near the elevator who were talking. One briefly replied, then carried on talking and ignored me. I had to ask who was in charge of reception, and he said it was him. Later, when I reminded him I'd messaged the hotel online about the birthday and my husband's late arrival, he just said “okay.” This completely overshadowed what should have been a special birthday stay. The poor communication, lack of professionalism, and disrespect were deeply disappointing. I expected basic respect and better service from a hotel of this standard.
