Antic 202 in Mallorca

The people here were lovely, and the waiters took time to explain where the dishes came from. I ate here on two evenings and had the Mallorca Cod one night and shrimps the other. Both meals were fresh and really delicious, and the wine was good too. Definitely recommend it.

We went twice, first for a morning coffee with my wife and later for a meal. The waiters were friendly both times and made us feel welcome. We had the Sicilian pizza and the margarita pizza with a pitcher of sangria, and the food was amazing. 10/10, would highly recommend.

The food itself was very nice, but the service was poor from the start. We were treated rudely when asking for a table, then waited ages for drinks. They even asked us to order before bringing menus. An hour later, two meals were brought out in an aggressive way, and the rest came more than 20 minutes after that. We had to remind them what was missing. The waiters were rude and unapologetic, though the bill came quickly. We were charged without being offered a choice between local and domestic currency, which added to the bill. Wouldn’t recommend.

The chicken wok with noodles was the best part of our meal at Antic. Lots of flavor, tender chicken, well-cooked noodles, and a savory sauce that felt rich but still fresh. The setting is calm and unpretentious, and the service was polite and efficient, if not especially memorable. It’s right on the seafront in Sa Coma, with lovely Mediterranean views and a nice breeze. A good spot for a relaxed meal, and worth visiting when you’re in the area.
