CM Mallorca Palace Hotel - Adults Only

We had a nice terrace with sunbeds and a table and chairs, and the gardens were beautiful. The rooms were spacious, bright and very clean. Most staff were helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble, though there were a couple of exceptions. Still, this wasn’t quite what I’d expect from a hotel advertised as 5-star. We only booked bed and breakfast. Breakfast was good, and the poolside snack bar had nice food and drinks during the day. We tried the buffet dinner on the first night. There was plenty of choice, but some dishes were bland, so I was glad we hadn’t paid for half board. The premium room had space for two comfortable chairs, but only one dining chair, so one of us had to sit on the bed. The bathroom had no extractor fan and got damp, meaning towels wouldn’t dry even in hot weather. There was a slight musty smell in the room, and I noticed black marks on the cornice. Other people mentioned it too. There could be more sunbeds, since people put towels on them before breakfast. I was told they planned to make space for more next year by moving the terrace bar. The cushions looked like they needed cleaning. They were stood up overnight, but got soaked in the rain and took most of the next day to dry. I’ve stayed at other hotels where the sunbeds were covered and kept clean.

This was our second stay at the CM Mallorca Palace, and it keeps getting better. We felt like part of the family from the moment we arrived, and the staff were happy to help with anything. Our suite was super, overlooking the pool, with a separate lounge and a double-size balcony. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with plenty of choice. The entertainment in the lounge was great on the evenings we stayed in, especially One Beat.

The team and the quality of the service are what make this hotel worthy of its 5 stars. We visited outside the season, and the value for money was impressive. Highly recommended.

It’s a smaller resort than others nearby, which made it feel much more relaxed. There were more German-speaking guests, and the atmosphere was quieter for it. It’s adults-only, so no screaming kids, and there were activities and events on all the time. The pool complex was fantastic, with a little bar, and the beach was about a 5-minute walk away. The service was great, the food was amazing, and staff were always happy to help book excursions. Rooms were clean and tidy and smelled lovely, though the air conditioning could have been cooler.
