CM Playa del Moro Hotel

The sea views from the room balcony were amazing, and the food was simply delicious. We’ve stayed here twice, and each time the cleanliness and friendly staff stood out from the moment we arrived. My son noticed how warm and attentive the team were, too. They took care of all our requests straight away. We’ll definitely return.

Cala Millor itself is truly special, and we could see ourselves coming back to this hotel another year. It’s not a huge complex, so the restaurant and pool both felt more relaxed. I loved starting the day with a health club visit, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi, after watching the beautiful sunrise. The hotel and all the staff were wonderful, and we had a fantastic holiday. They also looked after us on the evening of our 15th wedding anniversary, our last night there. Thank you!

Dinner was a highlight, with delicious meals that varied each evening, including fresh fish and plenty of choices. Drinks at dinner were reasonably priced. We booked directly through the hotel website and got an extra free drink at the bar. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with bathrobes, and we appreciated the pool towels and generous welcome drinks. The view was breathtaking, and the staff were professional, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. We had an amazing time and will be back. Happy to recommend this hotel to friends.

The hotel is clean and modern, and the restaurant and cleaning staff were lovely. We had great interactions with them over our 5-night stay. Unfortunately, our experience with reception, specifically Nadine and Grit, was poor. The problems we had came down to a lack of understanding, initiative, and customer service. We had booked a "Double Standard Room with Side sea view," but on arrival found twin beds instead of a double bed or large single mattress. I asked reception to change the beds or move us, but because it was late they said they could only arrange something the next morning. Then we were told we'd have to wait another night before moving. I explained that as a couple on holiday we didn't want to sleep separately, but was told nothing could be done. They said only 4 rooms of that specification had double beds, which seemed surprising for a 9-floor hotel with 5 side-sea-view rooms on each level. So, apparently, only 4 of the 45 rooms had double beds, with the rest having twins. Our only options, they said, were paying to upgrade to a junior suite or being accommodated at a separate sister hotel. We finally changed rooms on the afternoon of day 3 and got a double bed. At check-in, we were told late checkout could be arranged at any time. On our final day, with an evening flight, we asked early in the morning for a few extra hours, but were refused, even for just one hour. We had to leave at 11am. No explanation was given when we asked why. The exchange felt cold, with no understanding, common sense, or initiative from the staff. Why offer late checkout if they refuse when asked? These encounters really hindered our short stay. When you're paying to come and relax, this isn't what you deserve. Both issues could have been handled much better and resolved easily.
