Nexo Surf House

Had a really good time! The surf instructors are amazing, teaching in a calm, motivating way that helped me improve a lot. The food was tasty and authentic too, and the chefs were happy to work around preferences like vegetarian, vegan or allergies. Personally, I'd have liked a healthier focus, but it always tasted good :)

I’ve been coming to Nexo Surf Camp for New Year’s Eve for four years now, and I honestly wouldn’t pick anywhere else. I love visiting in winter, when El Palmar is quiet and you can enjoy the area in a more peaceful, genuine way. It feels special as soon as you arrive, surrounded by nature in the middle of nowhere in the best way. The roosters and cows are your neighbors. The beach is right beside it, and the facilities are beautiful, well maintained, natural and thoughtfully designed. A special thank you to Manu, Nia and the whole kitchen team. The homemade food is incredible, high quality, full of flavor, and prepared with so much care and attention. It’s the kind of real, well-cooked food that’s hard to find these days. Nexo feels like home every time, and I’ll keep coming back.

I chose the all-in package, with accommodation and food as well as surf, yoga and skateboarding. I wanted to learn to surf, but as an older beginner I worried about my abilities. I also knew I needed yoga to help limit muscle strain, and in early September in Spain, this was one of the few surf camps I found that offered both. The rooms are basic by North American standards, but comfortable enough for some peace and relaxation. The staff were kind, and the food was so good. Victor, my surf and skate instructor, matched my pace and encouraged me throughout. It was a phenomenal experience, and it wouldn’t take much to persuade me to return.

Really hope I can come back soon. The staff were lovely, the accommodation was top notch, and the food was delicious. Such an amazing stay!
