Petit Xuroy

The chef’s cooking felt like a feast every time, and I’m very grateful to him. I felt cosy and comfortable at Xuroy, and everyone on the team was so friendly. That meant a lot to me, especially as I was travelling alone. Best wishes and many thanks.

The bay is lovely, and the restaurant has a lot of potential. But the menu was terrible for vegetarians and children, and the prices were far too high. My husband had finished eating before my tomato and onion “meal” arrived. It cost 17 euros just for that. Service was really slow, and the main waiter mixed up the tables. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

I stopped briefly for a cold drink in the heat, but the waitress was hostile from the moment she took issue with me. Her rudeness spoiled the experience. The setting is amazing, but I wonder if the hotel knows how she treats some types of people. I wouldn’t come back, and I’d advise others not to either.

I’ve had great experiences here over the years, but today the staff seemed either not to care or not to see me. I waited too long for anyone to acknowledge me, so I got up and left.
