We spent the first night with no heating or hot water. After a couple of calls, a technician came and sorted it out. There were a couple of other things I wasn't happy with, mostly administrative, but we were there for a relaxing weekend, so I'm giving it four stars. The house itself is large, very beautiful, well maintained, and welcoming, and the green garden is peaceful.

The location is nice, but the house feels gloomy inside, with little natural light. The decor also makes it seem smaller, and it feels like there are fewer rooms and bathrooms than it actually has. The furnishings are very old and neglected, and the pool is dirty and more like a drinking trough.

It was the end of November, so having no heating on the first night was a significant problem, even if luckily it wasn't too cold. The place is also a bit run down. Without those issues, I'd have given it four stars.
