Masia Can Bachs

The bed and bedding were superb, and breakfast was a nice start to the day in this relaxing place. Can Bach is in a quiet spot in Montseny, with hiking trails nearby and Sant Pere de Villamajor close enough if you need something from town. The house is comfortable, with tasteful rustic decor and games like billiards and chess for after a day on the trails. Both owners, the Jordis, were kind, attentive, and full of suggestions. I’m grateful they helped me get my forgotten hat and gloves back. It was an excellent experience, and I recommend Can Bach!

Can Bachs is beautiful and full of thoughtful details, with everything you need. We’ve stayed there twice and have been very pleased both times. Jordi is an amazing host, always good at communicating, and even helped me order flowers for my girlfriend before we arrived. Don’t skip the continental breakfast, you won’t be disappointed. Be ready to disconnect from the world and enjoy romantic, beautiful days at Can Bachs. We can’t wait to go back!

The stay was made super uncomfortable by the host’s unfriendly, uncooperative attitude. From the first day, he complained about how we had to open the doors when all we wanted was to sleep. In this very cold area, he wouldn’t give us access to the heater. The equipment also didn’t match the description, and almost nothing was included as promised. Then he charged us money for nothing and was incredibly impolite in his messages. Worst host I’ve had in a long time. It was shocking and not worth the money at all. I highly recommend staying away.

A lovely place out in the quiet countryside, with Barcelona close enough to sleep in.
