The staff were fantastic, polite, and efficient, and the pool was a nice place to cool off with a drink from the bar. Our standard twin room was a good size and had a fantastic view, though the bathroom in particular could do with an update. The restaurant was busy most of the time we were there. We ate there once, and the food was tasty. Since we don’t often eat at gastronomic restaurants, we struggled to find a main course beyond steaks, but what we had was very nice. I’d stay again: it’s close to town and the beach, and makes a good base for exploring the region.

The staff were really friendly, and I liked that the hotel is pet friendly. I couldn’t bring my dogs, but it’s nice seeing people enjoy their holidays with their pooches. Still, I won’t be coming back. Noisy neighbours kept us from resting past 6am, and the walls seem paper thin. The bathroom needs an upgrade too, with a rusty, mouldy shower. The pillows were awful. If you need something like memory foam, forget about sleeping properly.

Someone broke a window in my car and stole everything while it was parked in their hotel parking lot. I found out the next morning. They had seen what happened but didn’t react until I told them to call the police. They never apologized or offered any help. Shameful staff. I could hear every word and every movement from the neighbours through the paper-thin walls. In my experience, this has been the worst hotel so far for that.

The afternoon menu was fantastic, and the young waiters in training were thoughtful and attentive. The hotel has incredible sea views from most rooms, with the beach just beside it, down some stairs. It’s perhaps a five-minute walk to the town centre, making it an ideal weekend getaway from Barcelona. The staff were friendly and helpful. It may not be super luxe, but it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a superb stay for a reasonable price.
