Despite the hotel being full, my impression was that it was badly understaffed. We sent four messages through Booking.com in English and Spanish about our ferry arrival time, but got no reply. At around 10pm, we arrived to find the hotel locked and deserted, though we could see our keys on the reception desk. The night emergency number was answered by someone who spoke no English and didn’t live onsite. We eventually talked our way inside, but the manager left again before we noticed there were no towels or bath mat in the room. We had to dry ourselves and the floor with a tea towel and dish cloth. The next day, I got a fresh towel, but the water was cold and the pressure too low to shower. The service was the worst I’ve encountered in years.

I’ve stayed at this apartment hotel for years. The staff are great, and the rooms are clean and well kept. The problem over the last couple of years has been a very loud outdoor disco or night club nearby. From Thursday to Saturday it’s so noisy that you can still hear it clearly with all the windows closed.

The hotel is clean and nice, in a quiet spot. I didn’t like the very hard pillow, or the smoke detector in the bedroom, which flashed a red light every five seconds and made it hard to fall asleep. Breakfast was very poor, though I guess that was because of covid.

For the price, it was okay to good. The rooms were nice and well equipped, and there was private parking and free WiFi. The standard hotel breakfast buffet had a small to medium selection.
