Carmen, the lovely lady in charge, was very helpful. The apartment had good internet, plenty of space, nice beds, double glazing, and a lift to every floor. There was some noise now and then from delivery trucks going to the hotel next door, but it wasn’t a real issue in apartment 6d. A shower mat or non-slip surface in the tray is the one thing it really needs. Good value overall. It’s well situated, with parks, bus services, a supermarket, restaurants, and shops all close enough to walk to. The apartment is fully equipped for self-catering, with good-quality washing and drying facilities. Underground parking was great, and it was easy to get onto the motorway for touring.

We loved the quiet nights, even during the big Santa Cruz celebration. The apartment stayed peaceful despite being near Rambla Street, and we could see the Anaga slopes from it. It was a great base for two nights with four adults and a baby: plenty of space, comfortable, and very clean. The park is just across the road, with an easy walk through old streets to the historic center and squares. There's also a fantastic fortress museum only a two-minute walk away. Rambla's old city villas are lovely to see early, before traffic picks up, and Teresitas beach is a ten-minute taxi ride away. We had air conditioning, though the thick duvets kept us warm with the windows open in early May, when it was 16°C. If your arrival time lines up with the host, you get a really warm welcome; otherwise the key is in a box, so there's no wait. We'll definitely choose Mencey Lofts again when we're in Santa Cruz. And thank you for helping us during our beach adventure. It was a miracle you happened to be nearby. The mother is doing well now, and everyone's happy.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Since it's on the lower ground floor there's not much daylight, but it's fine for a short stay.

A quiet-street location near a lovely park and lots of restaurants. The apartment is roomy and well equipped.

Both the washing machine and dryer had been used to clean a mop. They were in horrible condition :(
