Being right in the heart of Santa Cruz made the city easy to get around, with cafés, shops, parks and everything else close by. That’s the hotel’s biggest strength and alone deserves full marks. I had a pleasant, relaxed stay, and the staff were friendly enough. The room was comfortable and worked well as a base for a few days in town. There are a couple of things to improve. The showers could use stronger water pressure or some modernising, and breakfast felt a bit dated. Guests have to uncover quite a few buffet items themselves, which didn’t feel like the most hygienic setup. Still, I’d happily consider staying again for that convenient central location. A few small updates could make the experience even better.

I’ve stayed here before and thought it was a lovely hotel, but the communication has been so poor. Be careful if you get a WhatsApp asking you to click a link to confirm your booking or it will be cancelled. The message I got looked very real and included my booking details. I tried contacting the hotel through both Booking.com and its website and got no reply, reassurance or interest in finding out what had happened, so I cancelled my booking. The data breach may not have been the hotel’s fault, but not communicating with a client about it, or replying to messages, is poor practice. Please take this as constructive feedback. In response to the hotel’s reply: my email has not been hacked, thank goodness. I know not to reply to unwanted messages from scammers. My complaint was about the lack of communication. The hotel didn’t answer any messages through Booking.com or my email, and that’s where my disappointment lies. Thank you for at least replying to this feedback.

This happened at 05.12.2025, 19:00. I called, and the receptionist said he didn’t speak English. I then tried with my not-so-bad Spanish, and he ended the service. Maybe management is interested in getting rid of super bad staff. I’m not a picky person, but this was so disrespectful.

The breakfast was okay if you don’t have high expectations. I was very disappointed with room 310: it smelled strongly of cigarettes, the shower head was broken and the shower curtain dirty. The towels were old and worn, and the linen had spots.

I was skeptical, but for a 3 star hotel this is great value and very clean and tidy. It’s right in the city center.
