We stayed one night at El ampero at the start of June, surrounded by olive groves and with a fantastic view. The whole place and its atmosphere were wonderful, and the hospitality and service really stood out. We even decided on dinner spontaneously, and it was excellent. If you’re after peace, warm hospitality, and beautiful scenery, this is the place. We’ll definitely return.

After six weeks traveling around southern Europe, my wife and I were lucky to come across El Amparo/Lemon Tree Retreat. Jody, the owner, was delightful and helpful, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The place is beautiful and very well kept, with roomy rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast was really good, and the coffee too. It was the best B&B experience of our trip, and we recommend it without reservation.

The staff made us feel so welcome, and were incredibly kind to our two little boys. We had a wonderful stay at El Amparo with our kids. Great facilities, delicious food, and a lovely view of the mountains all around. It really is a magical place. Thanks to the whole team!

We didn’t want to leave El Amparo! Jody, Nick, Jo, Stu, and the rest of the team made us and our little ones feel truly looked after. The rooms were stylish and peaceful, the food was exceptional, and the views were stunning. The whole place had a relaxed, friendly feel.

We first came to El Amparo for my brother’s wedding, then returned just over a month later because it was that perfect. The location is stunning, the villa is beautiful, and all the staff are amazing. If you get the chance, dine in, Simon’s food is exquisite. Thanks, Jody and the team. We’ll be back again soon!
