Hostal House

The interior was what made Hostal House stand out for me. My bed was firm and supportive, the shower had plenty of space and pressure, and it was surprisingly quiet for busy Barcelona. I was on the ground floor beside the little inner courtyard, where I liked having my morning coffee before heading out to explore. The shared kitchen has free coffee, which was a nice extra. Across the different cities I visited that fall, every hotel was good, but this one was easily the best. Check-in was quick and straightforward. Metro, buses, and places to eat or drink were easy to get to, and the friendly staff were easy to reach whenever I had a question.

The room was small but comfortable and had the basics, including a little fridge, TV, WiFi, and a bathroom with towels, a hair dryer, shower gel, and more. Both the room and bathroom were clean, with daily cleaning too. It was a really pleasant stay and good value. Getting to the metro and buses was easy, and I'd recommend it.

The lift is really tiny, which was the one drawback for us. Otherwise, highly recommended. Our room had everything we needed, including a balcony, microwave, small fridge, and plenty of storage, plus a very good bathroom. The shared kitchen was a bonus, even if it was quite small. The area was handy: in about two minutes on foot there were lots of buses, including ones for the center and airport, and the underground wasn't far either. We enjoyed walking around this quiet neighborhood, with its lovely local people and plenty of shops nearby.

The room was tidy and pleasant, with a small fridge, and I loved the terrace outside. In the shared kitchen, there was free coffee, tea, and little pastries. The only bother was the lack of thick, dark curtains, so the room stayed fairly bright at night. Even so, I had a great stay and would consider coming back. It's a cozy little hostel in a peaceful residential part of Sants. The metro is under a 10-minute walk away, and the train station took me around 15 minutes to reach on foot.
