We spent two days and nights here, and the house itself is superbly equipped and lovely for relaxing. It’s surrounded by beautiful nature, with small nearby villages you can reach on foot along quiet roads with no traffic. The Oscos region in western Asturias is peaceful, and this place feels especially quiet. There’s a working 18th-century mill next door that’s well worth visiting, and plenty more to explore nearby, as Eduardo, the other owner and host, can tell you. The restaurant next door serves amazing food, including the exquisite breakfast Joaquín prepares. A wonderful stay thanks to the house and its hosts. 100% recommended. Be sure to eat at their restaurant if you go.

We’ve come back two years in a row, which says a lot. The accommodation is great, and small but just right for us as a couple with a child and a pet. Being able to bring our pet is a real plus. Eduardo and Joaquín are wonderful and make sure you have what you need. Their homemade breakfast is divine, and the surroundings and delicious Asturian food make it such a relaxing place. Highly recommend staying here.

The river runs right past the property, and you can hear the water flowing. We stayed three nights with our child and had an excellent experience. Joaquín and Eduardo were wonderful hosts, the breakfast was generous and very good quality, and the restaurant food was fantastic. 100% recommended.

Joaquín and Eduardo were wonderful with us and our dog. We loved the spectacular breakfasts and the restaurant’s delicious organic food, which was also very high quality. The apartment was beautiful and well equipped, in a unique setting that’s full of charm and perfect for completely unwinding. We’ll be back!
