Arenal d'Or

The hosts were wonderful, welcoming, upbeat, multilingual, and just cool. They went the extra mile and pleasantly surprised us with a full tour of the premises and local restaurant advice. Five stars for that! We stayed in apartment number 5, which had everything we needed: cooking facilities, a comfortable good-sized bed, air conditioning, fans for anyone sensitive to Aircon, quality furniture, cookware, cutlery, glasses, and plenty of privacy. The property is stylish and thoughtfully laid out, and looks good day and night. The pool was clean and a good size, and there's a self-help bar with reasonable prices. Arenal d'Or sits in what is probably Ibiza's most chilled-out area. The views around the property were lovely, and a beach is a short walk away. Since the island is small, everything else we wanted was within an hour by car. Most places we needed were about 15min away, including supermarkets, the hippy market, hikes, and secret beaches. The owners are always around for a friendly chat, and you can help yourself to a coffee or freshly tapped beer whenever you like. It's easy to feel at home here. The apartment has a big terrace looking straight out to sea, while on the other side the garden opens toward the pool through the trees. Such a peaceful place in a lovely setting. You'll need to rent a car if you want to explore the charming bays and markets for a change of pace.

Eva and Olli have earned their five stars as hosts at Arenal d'Or, even if this review might make it harder for us to book here again. My wife and I have loved Ibiza for years, and our first 11-day holiday with them confirmed everything on their website: the beautiful natural surroundings and nearby beach, the well-kept garden around the spacious pool, clean, well-equipped apartments, and easy parking across the park-like grounds. Eva and Olli run this unique place with real passion and care. You can tell straight away that their guests' comfort matters to them. They're also true Ibiza insiders and happy to share holiday tips, and their recommendations exceeded our expectations. The views were lovely, and the pool and facilities were great. We also had a luxurious apartment in a peaceful, welcoming place. There are beaches close by, including one with white water that was among the best I’ve ever seen.
