La Bohemia del Rio Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

I loved the calm feel around the pool and garden, and the rooms were bright and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, too. I stayed three nights at this lovely little boutique hotel and had a perfect time. The location worked really well, and breakfast was delicious. There wasn’t a huge selection, but the food was nicely put together and good quality, which I prefer to a big buffet sitting under heat lamps. I had dinner in the garden restaurant on my first night and enjoyed that as well. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit 💯

It’s a small boutique hotel, and by the end of the trip you’ll know the handful of staff. The rooms are a good size with decent amenities, and they offer yoga sessions. Towels are provided for the bathroom and for the pool or beach. The breakfast buffet is adequate, but there are no hot options. Coffee was the weakest point for me: it comes from a bean-to-cup machine and isn’t specialty coffee. The hotel is a reasonable walk from the waterfront, with plenty of restaurants nearby. A taxi to the old town is about €25-€30. The pool looks somewhat natural, with less chlorine, I suppose to avoid skin irritation. At times the water looked cloudy, and there was some algae on the wooden filter at the end.

A peaceful hotel with lovely rooms and a nice restaurant and swimming area. Great value, too. The staff are so kind and helpful, and make you feel very welcome. Such a good find, highly recommended!

The owners gave us a warm welcome, and the hotel has a relaxed feel with stylish design. The location is good, too. We had a very nice stay and would recommend it.
