Finca in Muro With Panoramic Views

The owners’ English is very limited, which made communication almost impossible. We’d already paid the deposit before arriving and were meant to pay the remaining amount when we got there, but then they unexpectedly asked for an extra fee that hadn’t been mentioned. We’d also agreed in advance that we could set up a large table for dinner. When we discussed where to put it, they changed their mind and said it wasn’t allowed unless we paid extra. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want a peaceful stay without surprise charges.

Avoid this place. We came as a group of friends to relax and celebrate our wedding. Before booking, and again when we arrived, we asked about having a large dinner table by one of the houses. The owners said it was fine. Then on the day, they threatened to stop it and said it wasn’t allowed. Everything was already planned, and they disappeared when we tried to work out a solution. We had a calm dinner, no party, loud music, or litter, but it was ruined. They took our 600€ deposit. The next day they started watching us closely. They took pictures if someone moved a chair from inside to the terrace or crossed the grass path in the wrong place. It felt like they were looking for a reason to claim we’d broken rules. Our stay was spoiled, and losing the deposit made it worse. They seem money hungry and dishonest.

We stayed in what seemed to be the house furthest from the others, so we had plenty of privacy. The property is lovely, with mountain views and birds all around. The landlord was very friendly, and everything went smoothly. I’d gladly visit again and highly recommend it.

We left after one night, even though we’d booked five. The place felt damp and musty, the equipment was extremely basic, and the dirty dishes and wine glasses were off-putting. Planes were landing every 5 to 10 minutes until 11 pm, which ruined the peaceful setting. We couldn’t get comfortable here. Maybe that’s subjective, but I don’t understand the relatively good reviews.
