Zafiro Can Picafort

We spent 12 days here in September 2025 with our 3yo, and really enjoyed the stay. The resort is spacious, with lots of green areas and swimming pools. Service was just perfect, and everyone was so nice and helpful. The animation was good too, with mini disco, aqua aerobics, a foam party for kids, yoga for kids and evening shows. Breakfast was included and had plenty of options. We also occasionally had lunch or dinner at the hotel, which was fine. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, though it’s not very big. Since we had a car, we drove to some nice beaches in the area. I’d recommend this place for families with kids.

The grounds were mostly immaculate, and the beach was close enough for an easy visit. We stayed nine nights, two adults and our three-year-old daughter. The staff really made the place, especially Federico and Marta, and the kids club and entertainment teams were a highlight too. Food was delicious with plenty of choice, and the chefs did a great job. Blackwells was our favorite à la carte. There was a good range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, though service at the lounge bar could be slow. The room was the one small letdown. The toilet paper holder was loose and the couch wasn’t very comfortable, but neither would put us off coming back. I’d recommend looking at a pool-view, garden, or swim-up room upgrade. We’d do that if we returned. The app is really useful for checking menus and entertainment times, so download it.

We loved our holiday so much that we booked again for next year before we’d even left. The buffet was delicious, with a varied selection each day, and there was plenty to keep the kids busy. The entertainment team were brilliant, and the staff were very attentive throughout. We had a great time and would happily recommend Zafiro C’an Picafort.

The friendly staff were the one bright spot, but they couldn’t make up for how disappointing the stay was. We knew the hotel was closing, though that doesn’t excuse the poor care. We still paid full price while it was clearly winding down, and the experience fell far below standard. There was food missing from the restaurants, bar, and buffet, and what remained was very poor quality. The hot tub and sauna were in awful shape. Honestly, they made the place feel like an abandoned building.
