We came with friends to see the city, and the apartment made a great base. It felt warm and welcoming, with a big terrace, and Santa Marta has a great tapas scene. Getting around was easy too, since it’s well connected and close to everything. The host was friendly and flexible.
It was a really cozy place in a peaceful setting, yet close to the city center. The host was lovely and flexible about her schedule. I’d happily stay here again, and definitely recommend it.
Booking.com is trying to get our money back, but they’re refusing. They charged us 60 euros for a stay on March 21st, even though a national state of emergency had been declared a week earlier. Their explanation is that we missed the cancellation deadline. The place was closed! They’d apparently rather lose a customer over that amount. Bravo, hope you get rich 60 euros at a time.
The tenant was so welcoming and kind, and shared lots of useful tips for sightseeing. The apartment is in a great spot, out on the edge of town but close to the historic center. I’d highly recommend it.
The hostess was fantastic, with plenty of suggestions for places to visit during a lovely weekend in Salamanca. Highly recommended.
