Aqua Hotel Onabrava & Spa****S

The rooms and the rest of the hotel were generally clean, and we ate well, especially at dinner, where there was enough variety for a week. The waiters and bar staff were friendly and good at their jobs. We stayed a week with our family in August 2025. The entertainment group was the highlight, upbeat and clearly passionate about what they do. The facilities do need attention, though. The spa and pool both show wear and could use maintenance and updates. There isn’t much for kids around the pool, and the kids club is limited too. The entertainment team helps, but a small water park would make it much better.

The staff were so welcoming, and our family loves coming here. This should be our fourth visit, and hopefully we’ll be back again this year. The food is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the spa is lovely. The beach is only 50 m away. Definitely worth a visit!

There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and supermarkets right by the hotel, and the beach is a five-minute walk away. We also took the train to Barcelona for a day trip, about 70 minutes each way. Our family room had two bedrooms, and both the room and hotel were clean. The staff were friendly and the half-board food selection was very good. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel.

This was our third year here, and Aqua group is becoming one of our favourite places in Cataluña. Even at full capacity it stays really quiet. The restaurant service is professional and excellent, and they do their best to help with whatever you ask. I love the charming atmosphere they’ve created.
