Camping Bon Repos

The dinner buffet was really tasty, but breakfast wasn't much good. The hot chocolate was watery every other day, and there was hardly anything to eat except sweet stuff. The beach was very stony too, without proper soft sand. There are some nice shops and lovely walks with good views nearby. The huts were modest and a bit worn, but still okay. What bothered me most was the staff: one of the cooks or waiters made inappropriate comments about my friend. We also asked reception for toilet paper and were told they had none and that we had to buy it, even though each hut had toilet paper before we arrived. I guess that was a lie.

The pitches are acceptable, but they're packed together with no space between them. Getting to the shower block means walking about ten times the direct distance. I'm not sure squeezing everyone in like sardines is a safe setup, though it seems to be the only camping left, as all the others have disappeared.

It's a great place for a memorable holiday, right by the beach, so you can enjoy the sea and sunshine whenever you like. Just be aware that the sand is fairly coarse and the seabed drops off sharply. You might find a better shore somewhere nearby.
