We found the staff warm and helpful, and our room was spotless with a lovely style. The Center Suite is also in a handy spot. There’s a new Regma café downstairs now, which works well for breakfast, so don’t let the old Google pictures put you off 😉. If you’re driving, there’s a really convenient car park just around the corner.

A good place to get a proper rest, whether you’re on your own or travelling as a couple. Our room had a nice-sized bed for two, plus a fridge and kettle. It was spotless and just a short walk from Santander’s central street, with the taxi stand about a minute away. I’d recommend it for the convenience.

Oscar made the stay special with how friendly and helpful he was. We asked what to do, and he spent about 20 minutes walking us through Santander’s hidden spots while marking them on a map for us. He also suggested a lovely hour-long coastal route from the beach to the lighthouse, which we wouldn’t have tried if he hadn’t mentioned it. He was keen to help and told us to ask him anything about the hotel or the city. The hotel is right in the centre, too.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service went beyond what we expected. Miss Yolanda deserves a special thank you for being so attentive and courteous while we were there. This is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at on our travels in Spain. I’ll keep it on my list for next time, and would recommend it to anyone visiting beautiful Santander.

I usually skip places rated below four stars unless there’s a good reason to choose one. The location was why I picked this hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It was nicer than some five-star hotels I’ve stayed in. Alvaro gave us a great welcome and plenty of tips for seeing Santander. The room was comfortable, the location ideal, and I’d stay here again.
