The helpful receptionist and central location were real positives. For a two-star hotel, I had a good stay: the room was spacious and clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The one snag was the shower head. It wasn’t fixed securely to the wall, so I had to hold it the whole time.

We were allowed to check in four hours early, and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean and roomy. The hotel is tucked down a small alley, but it’s ideally placed for cafes, bars and the main shopping streets. I’ll definitely come back.

For a solo trip, this is a good option if the price is right. The location isn’t the best, though it’s reasonably near the bus station, and being off the main street made it quiet. There are several places nearby to eat late at night. Rooms aren’t huge, but the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, there was plenty of hanging space, and the bathroom was decent and well cleaned.

Santander is a sprawling, hilly town, so this hotel is about as well located as anywhere. There’s a terrific restaurant just around the corner, and the hotel itself was exceptionally clean and great value. The staff I met were formal, polite and helpful. I had a perfect stay.

The restaurant was roomy, and the food was really good. The hotel is well suited to a Santander stay, with clean rooms that are nicely proportioned. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful.
