SF Avenue Santander

I booked the Superior Apartment with Park View through Expedia, but when I arrived the whole front of the property was hidden by scaffolding and green curtain material. There was no view, and the apartment was filled with an unpleasant green light. Neither the agent nor Expedia told me about this. I wouldn’t have rented it if I’d known. The agent won’t refund me, and Expedia won’t help.

The apartment was very quiet despite being on a busy street, and there are two supermarkets and several cafes nearby. It’s a 15 minute walk over level ground from the main bus station. Alvaro communicated excellently throughout. We had a lovely twin bedded apartment, spotlessly clean, with great kitchen facilities, crisp white linen, and a really lovely shower separated from the living area. We really enjoyed our stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the apartment was in perfect condition, spacious, and equipped with everything we could need. Although it’s on the main avenue, the balconies between the bedroom and living room keep the car noise out. Everything was perfect, and I’ll definitely return when I visit Santander.

I stayed for two nights and would happily come back. The apartment has everything you need, from a hairdryer, washing machine, soap, and toilet paper to dishes, a kitchen towel, coffee maker, and microwave. I thought it was fantastic, and the value for money is excellent for a few days here. The only downside was hearing footsteps from adjoining rooms. Álvaro was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. I booked months ahead on the apartment’s website, where prices are cheaper than Booking.com and similar sites, and requested the huge, very comfortable 180x200 cm king-size bed if available. You do have to request it. A few days before arrival, I asked on WhatsApp and they confirmed the double bed with no extra charge. I was arriving very early, but early check-in depended on the previous guests and cleaning, so it wasn’t possible. They did offer to keep my belongings safe until check-in.
