Sol Ponent

The rooms were really clean, with a good-sized balcony, comfy beds, working air conditioning and a decent-sized fridge. It was a quiet road when we visited in May, just outside the season, so I can’t say what peak season is like. The pool was great, with an amazing sea view and a cove just beyond the fence. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the snackbar had a nice atmosphere for a light bite. There’s a shop within walking distance and good places to eat and drink just a few minutes away in either direction. Parking on the main road can be a bit awkward, but we always found a spot within a couple of minutes’ walk. We had an incredible time and tried to book again for later in the year, but it was fully booked. We’d definitely stay here again.

There’s a good snorkeling spot just behind the hotel and a beautiful walk nearby. The pool is good too, though we didn’t try the restaurant. The place is generally decent, but it can get noisy, especially with small children, so it’s not ideal if you expect to sleep until midday.

We came back after 30 years and the family running these apartments were so nice to us. It’s clear they care about their guests and look after the property. The pool is beautiful and right by the sea, where you can dive off the rocks into clear water. The restaurant is great quality for a very reasonable price. Other restaurants in the same area charge double for half the quality. They really stole our hearts!

We didn’t stay here, but we visited the bar and restaurant and really enjoyed it. The menu has a good selection, and the full English breakfast was cooked perfectly and very good value. Drinks are very well priced compared with other places nearby. The staff were friendly, attentive and super pleasant, and the place was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend the breakfast. We’ll definitely return.
