BlueSea Club Marthas

I’m posting for Carl Westerman, who doesn’t use social media and asked me to share this. He’s been coming to this hotel for twenty years and was worried after reading some reviews earlier this year. When he arrived, the apartment had been decorated and was fresh and spacious, with a large double bedroom and kitchen/diner. The staff were friendly and looked after him. The restaurant food was excellent, with a good choice. The Animation team, including Daniel, Theo and all the team, were great. They ran games like Archery, rifle shooting, table tennis and pool. If anything’s wrong, Isobel at reception is really helpful. The General Manager was brilliant too. He can’t wait to go back next year, and some of the people he met have already booked.

The rooms were clean and spacious, though they could use a little refurb, and we even had our own small garden in front of the pool. Everyone on staff was friendly, always smiling and saying Hola! It’s a fantastic hotel for families or couples. Cala d'Or is in the quieter part, but the main centre is still only 20 mins on foot or 5 mins by bus. Highly recommended!

Theo really stood out. He brought loads of energy to the entertainment, got everyone involved, and kept things fun and friendly. He added a special touch to our holiday. The hotel itself was really nice too, with clean rooms, a large pool and plenty of sunbeds. The food had a good variety for an all-inclusive, and everything looked well kept and comfortable.

The staff were consistently courteous and helpful, and we really enjoyed the entertainment. We stayed for a week in mid-October. At first the room looked impressive, but we soon found rusty, mouldy bathroom taps and a broken bed frame that creaked loudly and made nights uncomfortable. Housekeeping came only once, so used towels and accumulated rubbish were left waiting to be collected. There were enjoyable parts to the stay, but the maintenance and cleanliness issues would probably make us choose somewhere else next time.
